Tenack Green Iron tape

The tapes are made by braiding yarns consisting of AISI 316L stainless steel fibre and aramid fibre into meshwork. This composition gives the packing a yellow-green colour and makes it more economical than Tenack tapes. The tapes, which withstand high temperatures and have excellent mechanical properties, are suitable for the glass industry as protection for parts that may come into contact with hot glass that is still soft to prevent thermal shock and microcracks.

Applications

Covering for pushing devices in the hollow glass industry. These stainless steel tapes may also be used, when folded, for guiding items along automatic production lines.
