Steel Flon

Steel Flon is a gasket made of PTFE reinforced internally by a drilled AISI 304 steel foil with a thickness of 0.50 mm. This combination adds rigidity to the PTFE and solves the main problem of ordinary  gaskets  in PTFE: excessive thermal expansion and creep due to high pressure, while maintaining all the favourable properties of the PTFE. It therefore ensures a better seal and greater operating pressure. Steel Flon is excellent for a vast  array  of  chemical  applications  up  to 260°C.
