ORANGE POLYIMIDE

Packing composed of synthetic fibre threads (polyimide) treated yarn-by-yarn with pure PTFE in dispersion, free from APFO, and inert lubricant, formed according to a diagonal braiding system to ensure perfect dimensional stability. It is a replacement for blue asbestos packing because it has a higher mechanical resistance and a low friction coefficient, which prevents shaft scoring typical of blue asbestos.

Applications

Pumps, centrifugal pumps, piston pumps, gate valves, low pressure valves, in the presence of water, condensate, solvents, fluids derived from oil, acid products, mechanical, chemical and petrochemical industry.
