Metaltex mica

Metaltex Mica gaskets are gaskets obtained from expanded mica plates with application of an AISI 316L edge on the inner diameter (on request also on the outer diameter). This edge ensures better sealing and prevents infiltration between foil and mica, which may cause wear and tear. Its main advantages are a high thermal resistance and being used in oxidising environments to replace expanded graphite.

It can be used in sectors such as thermal power plants, marine industries, heat exchangers, gas exhaust pipelines, valves.
