Ideal for insulating the glass windows of fireplaces and stoves, the Black Tex® seal is produced with black glass yarns and has one adhesive side.
It only melts at very high temperatures. Non-irritant, it does not disperse fine dust. The adhesive side is for positioning purposes only. The temperature limits are defined by the resistance of the resins that, when exceeded the specified temperatures, are modified to deteriorate. The glass yarn resists at 500° without losing its features.
