Aramtex® discontinuous filament tapes

Aramtex® tapes are produced using 100% pure paraaramid yarns with discontinuous filaments, which are usually woven in several layers, using particularly fine yarns that render the positioning surface extremely homogeneous and smooth and thus preventing the still hot sheets of glass from being scratched. Aramtex tapes have good mechanical properties (excellent resistance to cutting, abrasion and tear and compression resistance) and retain their thermal resistance features.

Applications

Protective covering of sliding rollers in tempering furnaces for the flat glass industry, conveyor belts.
