Aramtex® continuous filament sleeve

Aramtex® sleeves are textile products made with heat resistant yarns by special braiding machines with several spindles. The Aramtex® sleeve is produced using 100% pure aramid yarns with continuous filaments that give it better mechanical properties than discontinuous filament sleeves. Aramtex® sleeves are used mainly in the glass tempering sector for covering the rollers of tempering furnaces.

Applications

Textiles for the glass industry: for cladding rollers, in flat glass tempering furnaces, and for covering slumping moulds and hot glass handling tools.
